What Would Former Homosexual James Hartline's Wedding Looking Like?

What would a James Hartline wedding look like?

Not that I am planning to get married, but if this former homosexual who has completely given his life to Jesus Christ for many years were to ever find a beautiful Christian woman to marry, this video shows what that wedding just might look like.

Bravo James! That wedding entrance is a winner and I do think Jesus would approve.
HOWEVER, as usual, you did not do your homework. While you became enthralled with the wedding march, you failed to notice an important detail at the very end of the video; the pastor performing this wedding is a woman.

The Word of God proclaims, “A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent” (1 Timothy 2:11-12). In the church, God assigns different roles to men and women. God, through the apostle Paul, restricts women from serving in roles of teaching and/or having spiritual authority over men. This precludes women from serving as pastors, which definitely includes preaching to, teaching, and having spiritual authority over men.

So when you do find that woman of your dreams, by all means conduct the wedding march with flair, but for heaven’s sake, get rid of Jezebel and replace her with a biblically correct male pastor.

Who said she was the pastor?

I'm throwing Jezebel down from her tower, not having her minister to me like those who are going down with her.

This is hilarious! Wedding style should be a personal preference. I can tell how happy you'll be when you find that wonderful Christian woman who could be your soul mate, James.

Marriage should be eternal. When you desire to be with someone for eternity, it's time to marry that person. And God will take care of all things for you if you faithfully serve Him.

You know, I was going to just keep this as a private chuckle, but it's really just too great a moment to pass up.

It's amazing that both James Hartline and Pam's House Blend can feature the same video. The presentation may be different, but the message is the same: "how joyful life can be!"

I just figured it'd be nice to point out an elephant in the room and say that there's some actual, universal _commonality_ in this world, y'know?

The greatest joy is the hope of eternal happiness in our Heavenly Father's kingdom. I'm sure every Mother experienced the joy of having their first baby, and everyone loves to be with their family or friends. But no joy will last for eternity except we follow Christ.

Why won't you get married? Aren't you attracted to women?

Marriage is not just based on attraction. Relationships that are based on initial attraction only don't last long. The most important thing for stable eternal marriage is fidelity to the marriage vow, consideration to each other's feelings, compassion, love, and devotion based on mutual respect. It's easier to look for a spouse when you are young since most of your peers are single. Once you get older, most of them already paired up, so the choices out there are fewer, and the good ones are mostly taken. It will be a long waiting time. Just have to trust God and put your fate in His hands. No one would marry someone just to be married. Marriage is a serious choice. It's better to wait to make a mature decision than rushing into a marriage.

The answer to your question is in the title of this page. Scroll back up to the top.

And remember, "Once a former homosexual, always a former homosexual!" (But that sure doesn't make him a heterosexual.)
