The Murdering Of An Innocent Employee During A Wal-Mart Stampede
New York Daily News reports:
Wal-Mart Worker Killed in Black Friday Stampede
(Newser) – Black Friday bargain hunters trampled an employee to death this morning at a Long Island Wal-Mart, the New York Daily News reports. Another woman had a miscarriage in the stampede. The unidentified employee had been trying to hold the unruly crowd back, but the crowd knocked him down and ran over him, eyewitnesses say. Police are investigating.
“He was bum-rushed by 200 people,” said a co-worker. “They took the doors off the hinges. He was trampled and killed in front of me.” A few feet away, a shopper saw a woman knocked to the ground, and heard her tell paramedics she was pregnant. “There’s nothing we can do,” they said. “The baby is gone.” Police soon shut down the store.
My Viewpoint and Yours?
I feel so saddened by the death of the Wal-Mart employee. This worker was surely not making much money on his job as a greeter at Wal-Mart. Yet, the job surely meant the world to this now-deceased employee because it provided him with a means to pay the bills, to have a bed to sleep on at night, to put some food on the table. Everyday that this worker would get up and go to work, he would put a smile on his face and welcome the massive number of shoppers who have helped to make giant retailer Wal-Mart an all-consuming corporate monster.
This worker wasn't asking for that much in this world. And what he received in exchange for his offer of providing a smiling face at the front doors of this Long Island, New York Wal-Mart was a death sentence. This worker's life was executed by those who are consumed with purchasing the latest trinkets shipped to Wal-Mart from the slave factories of Communist China.
According to Newsday reporters JOSEPH MALLIA and JONATHAN STARKEY, a shopper by the name of Kimberly Cribbs said that rumors circulated among the other shoppers that someone had been badly injured, but the shoppers ignored the Wal-Mart workers' requests that they stop shopping and move to the front of the store and exit.
"They kept shopping. It's not right. They're savages," Cribbs said.
The worker was knocked down at 5:03 a.m. at the Green Acres Mall store, and was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 6:03 a.m.
One police officer told Newsday the prelude to the death was "a mob scene." The man who died was a temporary, part-time Wal-Mart worker, the officer said.
Wal-Mart Creates An Environment Where Greedy Shoppers Can Feed Their Carnal Desire For More Junk
The purpose of Christmas is to set aside one day out of the year to acknowledge the birth of the Savior of all mankind: Jesus Christ. Because gifts were given to the impoverished parents of Jesus so that they could care for the infant messiah, it has become a historic tradition in some Christian homes of giving gifts to others as a way of honoring the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
For those who have infected this time-honored day of remembering the birth of the eternal savior with a westernized drive for material gain, Christmas has become nothing more than a day to increase corporate profits and a day to manipulate the psychological needs of depressed consumers, thus saddling the average American with catastrophic consumer debt.
Added to this disgraceful dishonoring of the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ is the cold, harsh reality of millions of materialistic parents who have completely forgotten how to give the one gift to their children that children so desperately desire. The one gift that children want -- and so desperately need -- is for the parents to spend consistent, quality time with their own sons and daughters.
Instead of spending more time with the children, the parents are out in this increasingly immoral world indulging their flesh, buying more cars, more houses, more jewelry, more entertainment and, even worse, often acting more childish and irresponsible then their own children do.
According to New York Daily News: Before police shut down the Wal-Mart store because of the injured worker, eager shoppers streamed past emergency crews as they worked furiously to save the store clerk's life. "They were working on him, but you could see he was dead, said Halcyon Alexander, 29. "People were still coming through."
Only a few stopped.
And Wal-Mart is right in the middle of the mess that these parents are making of the American culture, with their manipulative marketing strategies to ensure that stores are full of frenzied shoppers driven to get whatever bargain is being hyped by the marketeers and profiteers that make up Wal-Mart's experimental retail laboratories.
2,000 years ago, Jesus predicted it would be this way in the last days right before His return to the earth
Jesus said these prophetic words in the Gospel of Matthew: "For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah. For as it was in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and they did not understand until the flood came and took them all away;
so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. Matthew 24:37-39
Madness is gripping the spirit of the American culture. This drive to get more "things" - and to indulge the carnal flesh - is destroying the very fabric that once made America the great nation that she is. The flesh is never, ever satisfied. Thus, the average American consumer, void of a right relationship with God, keeps trying to feed the flesh by buying more "stuff" and having more sexual relationships, or making more money, or getting bigger homes, newer cars, the latest electronic gadgets.
The Bible instructs all of us that this flesh can never be satisfied. The pursuit of fulfilling the flesh will eventually consume those who are living a life in which the flesh is the central focal point of one's existence. The event at Wal-Mart, where an innocent and hardworking man was trampled over by a stampede of raging consumers, proves that the Bible is absolutely correct in its description of the human condition.
What were these adult consumers doing standing in line for hours and hours at Wal-Mart? Who was watching their kids at home during the dark hours of the night as these shoppers waited in line? Were they praying to God about the real meaning of Christmas? As the consumers waiting in line stared with glazed-over eyes at the locked front doors of the Wal-Mart store, did any one of them think about the Christians in Sudan who would be brutally killed today by Islamic radicals?
While these worshippers of Wal-Mart prepared to break down the store's front doors and trample over the employee greeter, and as they fantasized about filling up their shopping carts with DVDs, cosmetics, cell phones, televisions, three and four pairs of new shoes, and anything else recommended by Oprah Winfrey, did any of them think about the scores of Indian citizens who, in the last 48 hours, had been exterminated during the massive terrorists attacks in the city of Mumbai (formerly known as Bombay)?
The Bible has given us ample warnings to be on our guard and to be prepared for the eminent return of the Lord Jesus Christ. Those who own Wal-Mart and are making their billions of dollars in profits off of products made in the heinous slave factories of Communist China will one day be held accountable by God. God is watching everything that is happening. He is well aware that Wal-Mart sells billions of dollars in goods every year that are made in China, while atheistic Chinese leaders imprison and torture Chinese Christians for merely possessing Bibles or holding church services in their little homes.
The Bible says, "For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?" No amount of money can buy you access to heaven.
So many in America learned nothing from the tragedies of Sept. 11, 2001. If the owners of Wal-Mart continue to make billions of dollars off of the products made in a nation where Chinese Christians are tortured and imprisoned for merely owning Bibles or preaching the Gospel, what does that really say about Wal-Mart? And what have these American consumers learned since Sept. 11, 2001, if they are willing to murder a Wal-Mart employee in their all-consuming drive to be first in line to purchase goods made in the damnable factories of Communist China?
My God! My God! What have we become?

What James did not reveal is the historical fact that Christians STOLE December 25th from the Pagans. There is no evidence in the Bible that Jesus was born on December 25th.
The Romans celebrated the Winter Solstice on December 25th as a renewing of the sun every year. Also the Romans celebrated the festival of the Saturnalia from December 17th to the 24th to honor Saturn, the god of grain and agriculture. The festival consisted of a period of goodwill, devoted to visiting friends and the giving of gifts.
At the beginning of the first century, Christianity emerged as a fledgling religion but not until the 4th century did Christians celebrate the birth of Jesus. The motive behind the introduction of this celebration aimed at subverting the practice of pagan rituals such as Mithra and Saturnalia. Pope Liberus introduced the Nativity on December 25th 354 C.E.. By the 5th century, the event became so customary that it began to mark the beginning of the ceremonial year.
There you go again, making stuff up, exaggerating, and twisting the bible. There is nothing in the bible that indicates that Mary and Joseph were “impoverished”. The reason they had to stay in a stable was because the hotels were full (they did not call ahead for a reservation!).
How does giving gifts to others honor the Gospel of Jesus Christ?????
Sir, you need to take a bible course to learn what it really says and not just make stuff up.

I know that you consider yourself an 'ex-gay' and as a result I feel like you spend a significant amount of time and energy speaking about homosexuality. However, I do enjoy reading your entries when you put just as much time and energy on other causes - including this current blog entry about an employee dying at wal-mart and how that's a symptom of major cultural problems in the United States.
