Converting straight people into law abiding gay people is a tough job but someone has to do it. The San Diego booming gay economy is providing a stimulus and inspiration that is the envy of other American cities. Many cities in America are spending millions of dollars to attract gay tourists but few have done a better job than San Diego. Corporations everywhere are rushing to have their conventions in San Diego and San Diego yesterday announced that they have bought the land necessary for another expansion of the Convention Center. Mayor Sanders is working feverishly to build a new stadium downtown for the Chargers and their “tight end” fans. The gay bars and restaurants have shown a resurgence of profits as thousands of new recruits for the gay lifestyle pour into Hillcrest each weekend.
Meanwhile, many of our churches are dwindling as their former members now spend their Sunday mornings at Starbucks and listening to upbeat music at The Rock Church. In order to compete with the Metropolitan Community Church, many churches are revamping their social outreach programs, changing their worship service format to make it more entertaining, and revising their Bibles to reflect modern realities. California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger stated that a new California
plan, modeled after Obama’s gay stimulus package, will be introduced soon that will return California to prosperity. Another new program will shift the focus in California from gay marriages to straight divorces. Under the new plan, California will become the divorce capital of the world as heterosexuals are encouraged to convert to the gay lifestyle.
Currently America's divorce rate comes to approximately 41% for first time marriages. Divorce is big business in the United States. According to maritalstatus.com, a web site geared toward divorce and remarriage, divorce is a $28 billion-a-year industry with an average cost of about $20,000. If only 30% of those 3 million weddings end in divorce, we would see an additional $18 billion added to the US economy. California intends to capitalize on this trend. No objection from California’s churches is expected. Unlike gay marriages, most churches ignore divorces even though the Bible prohibit divorce. A local San Diego mega church pastor predicted that new church divorce ceremonies would soon replace marriage ceremonies.
Finally , Governor Schwarzenegger stated that the time has come to legalize prostitution and apply a tax on this service.
Prostitution has been around forever, and it continues to thrive even in countries with draconian punishment for prostitutes and their clients. Prostitution will never be wiped out, all governmental efforts to get rid of it are doomed to fail. There will always be guys who are too horny, and girls who are desperate for money to make ends meet. The world’s oldest profession is here to stay, and it’s time that we accepted this reality. If the sex trade is legalized, taxed and regulated, it will benefit society it many ways. Working girls not only stimulate their customers, but they also stimulate the economy
