They Would Not Listen -- And Now We Are Burning!
They shook their fists at God and said, "We don't care what God says, we will issue our legal brief to support gay marriage in San Diego!" Then Mayor Jerry Sanders mocked the Christian vote and signed off on this rebellious legal document to support same-sex marriage.
And then the streets of La Jolla under the Mt. Soledad Cross began to cave in.
They shook their fists at God and said, "We don't care what the Bible says, We want the California school children indoctrinated into homosexuality!" And then Governor Schwarzenegger signed into law the heinous SB777 which bans the use of "mom" and "dad" in the text books and promotes homosexuality to all school children in California.
And then the wildfires of Southern California engulfed the land like a raging judgment against the radicalized anti-christian California rebels.
How low will we go?
Why won't they listen?
Why won't they stop their madness?
The Bible says that in the last days, the nations will rebel against God until He can't take it anymore.
Was it all worth it? Were the few years of sexual immorality worth the eternal destruction and earthly chaos it brought?
How low will we go?

For an all-powerful being God sure has lousy aim.

If it's the Gays that God is after, then why is West Hollywood still standing?
The Bible also says that God is not willing that any should perish. God doesn't take any pleasure in a man or a woman dooming themselves to hell when they reject the time of grace and offer of salvation given by Jesus Christ.
He is not in a hurry to send the participant of homosexuality to hell. He is waiting...waiting...waiting. And most of those involved in homosexuality were born with prophetic gifts from God but those gifts are being held captive because of the preoccupation with sex and not being born again.
We are not guaranteed to be even given tomorrow. The Bible says that today is the day of salvation. Choose wisely. The warnings are all around us. Yet, the vast majority of radicalized gay activists will not repent even in the face of catastrophic fires, earthquakes, hurricanes, floods and diseases. Even in the face of AIDS how many gay activists have renounced their sin to follow Christ? Barely any.
Despite the warnings, what are you waiting for? Do not reject this time of grace and liberty. Choose to renounce the evil way. Accept the great love of God, repent, seek His face and follow Him with all of your heart. It is the only way. And in these last days, you don't know how much time you have left.
I will say, I do not believe that this age of God's grace is going to last much longer. The wars in the middle east are taking shape just as the Bible predicted in the Book of Ezekiel and Revelation. The rise of the one world government and the spirit of anti-christ is sweeping the globe. All of the signs are there. And yet, most gay activists are still focusing on the sexual revolution which ultimately is going to destroy them and come to a ruinous end. The Bible is never, ever wrong.
Was it worth it? Were the few years of sexual anarchy, the anything goes sexuality, worth the loss of all eternity in heaven?
For the man who has a male lover, can you look that person in the face and say, "Oh, I really love you, love you to the point that I want to set you up to go to hell because my need for your flesh is more important than my want for you to go to heaven."
Homosexuality is one of the most potent of all sins known to mankind. It is, at its core, selfishness of the darkest kind. It is pure self-indulgence and self-abuse, where the sexual partners are nothing more than objects to fulfill fantasies.
God did not create this way of life. The devil did and man received it. That is why it is a total lie when people try to sell the myth that people are born homosexual. That is fiendish lie created by those who are bent on shaking their fists at God and saying, "We will not bow! We will not do what God commands!"
I was a rebellious sinner. I know what I am talking about. I was so close to going to hell. In God's grace, He gave me one more chance and fortunately I seized that opportunity.
What will you do in these last days of the church age of grace?
God's love in me compels me to tell you the truth. A real Christian will tell you the truth. A bigot will lie and seduce you into a path that sends you to hell.
The reason that I stayed back and continued to live inside of the gay community is because God's love would not let me abandon so many who are so lost and headed for hell.
Most in the church could not careless about the gay community. They just write everyone off as if they are worthless. That is not God's love.
God says that there is no greater love, no greater sacrifice, than a man who lays down his life for the saving of others.
I think my actions demonstrate that I have been seeking the truth, the will of God and demonstrating His love for my fellow lost brothers and sisters.
So does this mean God is out to kill gay people for this? No, I think this is not His agenda. The Bible clearly teaches that "God desires NONE to PERISH but that all would come to repentance."
"None" would obviously include gays and all other sinners. God says "ALL have sinned and fallen short". That includes all of us.
But is then the fires an act of God's judgment? In my opinion I would have to say that YES, this is obvious. But the purpose behind it is not so clearly understood. That is because "sin" blinds us to the truth.
A loving God would not wantonly destroy His people for no good reason. Rather, this type of judgment is a warning to "REPENT" and turn from our sins before it is too late. It gives people time to think, to reflect before they face death. Just as AIDS is very loving in reality because it gives a person time to think about their eternal destiny before they die. For death without Christ is eternal separation from God and is eternal punishment for those who reject His goodness and love.
The fires have so far claimed only a few lives and for this we must be thankful. But we must also have an ear to hear that God is once more shaking all that can be shaken and that we need to hear what He is saying to us. If we harden our hearts and shake our fists at God and do as the Mayor and City Council of San Diego have done by declaring that they know more than God does and that they do not care what the Bible says about homosexuality but rather WE will do what WE think is right then we will eventually face God's wrath. This is true for all sinners, not just gay people and misguided city and state policital leaders.
One must wonder though how the city of San Francisco has avoided judgment for so long? And Las Vegas which is nicknamed "Sin City" how has it escaped? Surely if these events are orchestrated by God then surely San Francisco and Las Vegas are long overdue.
Yes, truly God is first judging His church but by doing this He is giving a warning to all of mankind that they are next unless they repent.
Luke 13:1-5
GOD'S WORD ® Translation
1 At that time some people reported to Jesus about some Galileans whom Pilate had executed while they were sacrificing animals.
2 Jesus replied to them, "Do you think that this happened to them because they were more sinful than other people from Galilee?
3 No! I can guarantee that they weren't. But if you don't turn to God and change the way you think and act, then you, too, will all die.
4 What about those 18 people who died when the tower at Siloam fell on them? Do you think that they were more sinful than other people living in Jerusalem?
5 No! I can guarantee that they weren't. But if you don't turn to God and change the way you think and act, then you, too, will all die."
currently, fires are burning in southern california, but the city of los angeles has been spared. west hollywood is still standing, but republican strongholds have been turned to ash.
clearly, god hates black people and republicans.
clearly.

Yes. Yes, it can.

Using people's suffering and misfortune to justify God's Will is no less then evil and you too will have to answer one day for your sins.
Strong quake strikes western Indonesia
THE ASSOCIATED PRESS
JAKARTA, Indonesia -- A strong earthquake struck off the coast of Indonesia's Sumatra island Thursday, sending panicked residents fleeing from their homes and briefly triggering a tsunami warning.
The quake had a preliminary magnitude of 7.1 and struck 85 miles west of Bengkulu, a coastal town on Sumatra, the U.S. Geological Survey said. It was centered 18 miles beneath the ocean floor.
The Japan Meteorological Agency said there was a small possibility it could trigger a destructive tsunami. But the wave never came, and Indonesian authorities later lifted the alert.
Residents in Bengkulu fled their homes with their families and belongings, some jumping into cars and onto motorcycles, el-Shinta radio reported.
Indonesia, the world's largest archipelago with a population of 235 million people, is prone to seismic upheaval because of its location on the "Ring of Fire," an arc of volcanos and fault lines encircling the Pacific Basin.
Bengkulu was hit by a series of powerful tremors last month that killed 23 people and triggered a small tsunami.
I'm clear on the homosexual stuff but could you please offer us some advice on a few other specific laws mentioned in the Bible and how we should follow them?
1. When I burn a bull on the altar as a sacrifice, I know it creates a pleasing odor for the Lord - Lev.1:9. The problem is my neighbors. They claim the odor is not pleasing to them. Should I smite them?
2. I would like to sell my daughter into slavery, as sanctioned in Exodus 21:7. In this day and age, what do you think would be a fair price for her?
3. I know that I am allowed no contact with a woman while she is in her period of menstrual clean- liness - Lev.15:19-24. The problem is, how do I tell? I have tried asking, but most women take offense.
4. Lev. 25:44 states that I may indeed possess slaves, both male and female, provided they are purchased from neighboring nations. A friend of mine claims that this applies to Mexicans, but not Canadians. Can you clarify? Why can't I own Canadians?
5. I have a neighbor who insists on working on the Sabbath. Exodus 35:2 clearly states he should be put to death. Am I morally obligated to kill him myself?
6. A friend of mine feels that even though eating shellfish is an abomination - Lev. 11:10, it is a lesser abomination than homosexuality. I don't agree. Can you settle this?
7. Lev. 21:20 states that I may not approach the altar of God if I have a defect in my sight. I have to admit that I wear reading glasses. Does my vision have to be 20/20, or is there some wiggle room here?
8.Most of my male friends get their hair trimmed, including the hair around their temples, even though this is expressly forbidden by Lev. 19:27. How should they die?
9. I know from Lev. 11:6-8 that touching the skin of a dead pig makes me unclean, but may I still play football if I wear gloves?
10. My uncle has a farm. He violates Lev. 19:19 by planting two different crops in the same field, as does his wife by wearing garments made of two different kinds of thread (cotton/polyester blend). He also tends to curse and blaspheme a lot. Is it really necessary that we go to all the trouble of getting the whole town together to stone them? - Lev.24:10-16. Couldn't we just burn them to death at a private family affair like we do with people who sleep with their in-laws? (Lev. 20:14)
I'd love to hear your thoughts. Thanks and God bless!!
And btw, "Denial" is not just a river in Egypt.
Now...are you actually serious? Dude, I lived in Cali for a while AND I'm a full-fledged Christian with a relationship with God and Christ and all...but this is complete lunacy.
First of all, there are fires in the Californian woods all the friggin' time!! To say that these particular fires are because of some random sin is ridiculous!! Do you also then believe that Katrina...which pretty much left all the businesses and 'dens of sensuality' alone in New Orleans but instead destroyed hundreds of homes and churches...was because of sin?? Or...wonder of wonders...could it have simply been Nature doing its thing?
Second, I understand that you are a former homosexual yourself. Well...no offense dude...but "one is tempted when he is carried away by his OWN lust." No one 'made you gay'. If you were in that lifestyle, then it was because -you- wanted it; don't put it on anyone else.
If you worked through it and decided that it just wasn't for you, then fine...but don't dare to pretend other people were at fault for something that was your own choice!!
Or, perhaps, you could admit to yourself that your 'thorn in the side' is that you are sexually attracted to men. Personally, I don't think God will hate you forever if you admit this to yourself, but I -do- think it's -very- wrong to say the things you have; I can only imagine the pain you may have caused your former lovers for having said things like this in such an un-Christlike way.
Also...I think Christ would be hanging out with the very people you now despise; they are the prostitutes and tax collectors of today [Christianity-wise], and I think you would actually despise Christ for not hanging out with -you- and your self-hatred.
Anyways...didn't mean to go this far with it, but damn man...this ain't cool, and you seriously need to learn how to accept yourself, even if you don't like yourself very much.
Also...America is NOT a Christian nation! It never was, and it never will be!! Christianity is on the outside of what the world in general stands for!! That's the entire friggin' point of Christ's message anyways!!
Ok...I've said my piece, and now I'm going back to my own little corner of the world. ^^;;;;
Peace in HIM to you and yours.
~The China Lizard~
You guys really need to revise your dogma.
Some people grew up but couldn't handle reality without parents. They can't handle death because they have the infantile desire to live forever. So they created an imaginary friend who cares about them and lets them live forever. Many of these sad people call this imaginary friend God. Their beliefs are so insane that they write tomes explaining their imaginary friend and why their imaginary friend is more real than someone else's imaginary friend. They desperately try to rationalize their insane beliefs because that's a lot easier than growing up and facing reality. These poor, sad people end up seeing everything as proof that their imaginary friend is actually there because it makes them feel better.
So to all of you homosexuals and atheists - the next time you pass a church don't point and laugh - but try to help these weak people. It's not too late for them. Those who are brave enough to leave Never Never Land can grow up too.
So how come the Vatican isn't burning?
Hartline, Phelps has you beat already. You won't steal any of his financial supporters, which is exactly what you're seeking.
People were forced to behave certain ways, because it was believed God would smash the country if the nation didn't behave according to His laws.
Of course, it was nothing else but hypocrisy and abuse of power, cause you can't force an entire nation to live a certain way. And then, you also had different religions, so if God really wanted to smash countries for "improper" behaviour, there would really be only a few of them left standing right now.
But then you still have those morons today and they tell you if you don't have the state enforce christian laws, the country's gonna fall apart. Nice try at a theologian state. Also, i'm pretty sure Thomas Jefferson has a message for you James Hartline : Fuck. You.
One last thing, how come when Bin Laden kills people because they're not muslims, or because they enact policies that he doesn't like, we call it terrorism,
and when James Hartline's God kills people and destroys property because of laws that treat homosexuals normally, it's all okay ?
Can we have some coherence ? Can't James Hartline finally join Al-Qaida and wage the war against the american freedom he apparently loathes so much ?

If that's what's bothering you, I will actually make a prediction of God's judgment: to punish Seattle for its sinful, fag-enabling ways, God will cause rain to fall at a moderate pace on the city throughout this winter. Mark my words. Possibly starting Tuesday, thus sayeth the Yahoo! Weather Widget.
Men who have sex with each other are supposed to be killed (apparently without a trial). The fires are doing much more than that. The fires are burning trees and other plants, killing animals, polluting the air, and there will be soil erosion problems when it rains.
Yet for all that damage and destruction, I've found no proof, no evidence, that any of the men killed were gay?! Is Her aim that bad?
Why is it only gay men should be put to death? Pedophiles and lesbians are not even mentioned. That must be to protect the nuns and priests and cardinals and bishops and altar boys.
I will say now, however, that Jesus said to pray...."Thy will be done on earth as it is heaven...."
The will of our Father in heaven is for His will in heaven to be manifested in this earth. Thus, when we go against God's will by establishing man made laws that violate the will of heaven, we are violating God's will and purpose for our nation. Judgment comes as a means for God to cleanse those things from the earth that are violating His will and purpose. I believe what the Bible says. It says that we will reap what we sow. If we sow into the devil's plans, we will reap the consequences. Maybe not today, but eventually......the consequences......will.....manifest.
Why even take the chance?
The Bible says that we are not to tempt the Lord.
And God can be withholding judgment in a particular neighborhood because one of His servants is present praying and keeping at bay the judgment. What if that servant of the Lord should leave and move out of that area? Or perhaps, God knows that there are those who will eventually get saved who are currently living in that area: so He withholds judgment from a community...temporarily.
Remember the story of Lot. God told Abraham that He was about to destroy Sodom, but He would not do so until Lot got out of Sodom. Once Lot fled the town, the judgment commenced and Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed.
When we know the will of God and we fight that will for our lives or community, we are tempting God to judge us.
More to follow..............
If you'd expand your hilariously myopic view of reality, you'd see that, among many other things:
1. Fires are extremely common in Southern California, even ones of this magnitude. I'll bet all of the past ones coincided with some sort of homosexual legislation, come to think of it. I bet they also coincided with a homosexual being discriminated against or being hurt in a hate crime. Which one is God punishing us for?
2. Homosexuals are everywhere. There is always SOME sort of Gay Agenda being enacted, be it anti-discrimination law or affirmative action, and this happens all across the nation - and indeed, the world. Why God would set San Diego on fire for a few days as a message to anyone regarding homosexuality implies that God is weak or stupid, or self-defeatist, none of which are possible.
3. Regarding the Coincidence post: Yes. Yes, it can be mere coincidence. That is exactly what it is. If you looked for the entire body of current events, you would see a whole hell of a lot that these fires coincided with beyond one or two points of political correctness. By whatever logic you arrived at your answers with, I could as easily blame these fires on the Red Sox winning the World Series. (God is omniscient, he can start the fires ahead of time to coincide with their coming back from a deficit against the Indians.)
Get over yourself. God isn't punishing anyone for anything, because he doesn't exist, and even if he did he wouldn't bother killing and evicting innocent people - in his own house no less! - with a poorly-aimed fire because somebody, somewhere, is marrying men to each other. Your beliefs are utterly senseless, and you're insane. Good day.
James Hartline said...
"the preoccupation with sex and not being born again."
Yeah, because gays don't think like normal humans. There sex robots!
After the Rain
After the rain, the sun will shine;
After the rain He comes!
Rising on high with healing wings,
After the rain He comes!
Let all of hell rip and tear at your life;
After the rain He comes!
Though all around you should fall to the ground,
After the rain He comes!
Think on the time when all was dark,
Circled by all your fears;
All you could see was grim and stark,
Welling your eyes with tears.
Then, in the distance, a new light would shine,
Conquering all your fears;
Even with Heaven's own Christ, the divine,
Wiping away your tears!
Even as Joseph fled His cloak
Heaven had cleared his way.
Even the Captain's wicked wife
Never could bar his way!
For even down in the darkest of cells,
Jesus is holding sway!
Even when mud binds your feet in the well
Jesus has cleared the way!
Lifting you clear from wicked sin,
Clearing of all that numbs;
Washing you in His Precious Blood,
After the rain He comes!
Knocking and chopping all clear from your life—
See how the river runs—
Everything wicked and all that brings strife.
After the rain He comes!
Praise to the One who sent Him down;
After the rain He comes!
Praise to the One who set to drown;
After the rain He comes!
Praise to the Spirit who wraps us all ’round;
After the rain He comes!
Praise to the Trinity, all who astound;
After the rain He comes!
