Here is an interesting commentary sent to me today from a writer in Canada. Her news service called News n Blues, features a regular column from prophetic writer Elinor Montgomery. Montgomery's website is Voice of the Kingfisher (www.voiceofthekingfisher.ca). I get dozens of requests every month to promote things to my thousands of readers. Only a very, very small portion of those requests are approved. I have not had time to review either News n Blues or Voice of the Kingfisher, thus I am not affirming these writers. I am, at this time, just passing on this one commentary, which I found to be thought-provoking.

Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has become, perhaps, one of the most hypocritical politicians in all of America . He presently is upfront and center, portraying himself as the inspector of law and order, seeing that the needs of the evacuees are met, as they escape the fires, which are raging throughout California . But the question we have to ask ourselves is whether or not he is the fire-bug, which sparked these fires in the first place.
Let us look at the government measures he has endorsed, which are at the root of this disaster. He has been signing laws supportive of the promotion of homosexual activity in the state. The latest law, which he signed, bars parents from the schoolrooms, while ordering the system to allow boys in girls’ restrooms and locker rooms, and vice versa. This is nothing short of a blatant attack on the traditional values of America . He is declaring American values to be irrelevant in the new sexualized indoctrination centers of the schoolroom.
Children as young as five years of age will be mentally molested in these centers. One of the bills signed by him, SB 777, prohibits any instruction or school activity, promoting what is referred to as discriminatory bias against ‘gender’ – cross-dressing, sex changes and sexual orientation.
At the same time, a parent who speaks truth with respect to marriage being only for one man and one woman, in front of the sensitive ears of a lesbian teacher, would be convicted of harassment. Students, declaring before a male teacher, wearing women’s clothing, that people are born male or female, could be reported as being an harasser.
He also signed Bill AB14, which is another insensitive law that absolutely violates people’s moral boundaries.
Unfortunately, God and Schwarzenegger are on opposite sides of the fence and, for all his body-building prowess, Schwarzenegger has nowhere near the power of the Almighty Creator, Who endowed this fool with the muscles he flexes. We are speaking here of the heavy-weight champion of the light-weight Hollywood stars-cum-politicians, who has become the fire-bug of California .
Do not think that God does not mean what He says about nations, which are blessed by being in covenant with Him. But then, Schwarzenegger was not a native of this great nation and, perhaps, he gives us reason to reconsider foreigners, who have not been raised in this country under God, being allowed to assume high offices in the land. Is it possible to marry ‘the left’ with ‘the right’ without having the whole loaf fill up with the leaven of liberalism?
I would refer you to my commentary of July 23, 2007, Storm Clouds are Gathering; “You shall surely face the coming storm, ignited by the wrath of God. You will see many, many more signs of famine, floods, fires, hurricanes and earthquakes, so brace yourselves for the storm clouds are gathering.” And again, I refer to another commentary of June 28, 2007, Survival of America; “The judgment, which fell upon the twin towers of New York and upon New Orleans, the Sodom of America, was a mere warning of things to come. The fires, floods and earthquakes in diverse places are signs of the great judgment, which is right at hand.”
Wake up California , for you have a fire-bug at the helm of government. Blame your financial losses and the loss of your homes on him and those of the homosexual voting community who have him in their pockets. He is your fire-starter who has ignited God’s wrath. The laws of man, which come against His Law, will arouse Him to take His justice against evil, repaying evil with its just reward.
California has a long history of moral wickedness; it would seem that the natives are slow learners. How much destruction will it take before they wake up to discover, too late, that everything they covet, their homes, their cars, their affluent lifestyle and their liberty, will all be lost? Hollywood and the Californian lifestyle, so full of government-endorsed sexual perversion, will all become but a shadow of the past, when that state faces the coming judgment of a second, great earthquake and its ensuing fires.
God is not sleeping, but rather has given these nations of America time to repent of their wickedness against Him. He has mercifully granted 100 years of grace for Californians to change their ways after His last judgment of the great earthquake and fires of San Francisco in 1906, which preceded the great spiritual revival of Azusa Street .
California is the symbol in America of Satan’s attack on the westward move of God’s covenant with His covenanting people. He brought them to America , for the sole purpose of worshiping only Him and being a light of liberty in His Law to the world. Instead, Americans pushed westward under satanic spiritual guidance chasing after the Californian gold of this world in place of the gold of worship God wants to see, covering His chosen vessels.
Those who pushed westward, panning for gold, staked land claims for themselves, unlike the earlier explorers who, in their westward push, planted crosses and staked their land claims for God and His Son Jesus Christ. He blessed this nation long enough to demonstrate the power He wanted to bestow upon His people.
Californians cannot purge themselves quickly enough of both their governor and the perverted sexual strongholds he supports, at the expense of the well-being of the parents and their children. They have an inevitable choice to make between being washed clean and receiving the sure fire judgment, which will ultimately result in God wiping them from the face of the earth, if they do not repent and change their ways.
This state is like a lightning rod, planted and ready to conduct His wrath upon itself.
Wake up, Hollywood , and the rest of that Californian state of ‘star’ gazers. You have a fire-bug and a terminator in your midst, who is the leader of the pack. When all you have is gone, remember that you were warned, but you chose to endorse a terminator instead of God. He will see to it that your wickedness is finally carried away in a lake of fire.

I receive NewsnBlues twice a week and today's Commentary by Elinor Montgomery is bang on.
Anyone who knows His word, also knows the prophetic significance of what the commentary states as being the truth.
How about the drought here in the South where this region of the country has been known as the bible belt? The drought in the natural, reflects perfectly the spiritual drought in the spiritual.
How about those floods? Sea water is not life giving water for man, but we saw sea water inundate New Orleans driving almost half of the people in that region out.
Inland floods? Water is no longer used by the Lord as a covering for sin as He clearly demonstrated with Noah and stated factually with His promise of not destroying the earth again by flood.
The floods clearly demonstrate once again, how sin in this nation and our turning our backs on the Lord, as a result in the natural for our pathetic situation in the spiritual.
What else does one have to do in order to see this truth for what it is?

Here's some interesting information I recently came across...
Norway has embraced secularism at the expense of its Christian roots. A 2005 survey conducted by Gallup International rated Norway the least religious country in Western Europe. In Norway, 82.9 percent of the population are members of the Evangelical Lutheran Church (they are automatically registered at birth and few bother to be unregistered). However, only approximately 10 percent regularly attend church services and identify themselves as being personally Christian. A 2006 survey found: 29 percent believe in a god or deity; 23 percent believe in a higher power without being certain of what; 26 percent don't believe in God or higher powers; 22 percent have doubts. Depending on the definition of atheism, Norway thus has between 26 percent and 71 percent atheists. The Norwegian Humanist Association is the world's largest humanist association per capita. And what has secularism done to Norway? The Global Peace Index rates Norway the most peaceful country in the world. The Human Development Index, a comparative measure of life expectancy, literacy, education and standard of living, has ranked Norway No. 1 every year for the last five years. Norway has the second highest GDP per capita in the world, an unemployment rate below 2 percent, and average hourly wages among the world's highest.
In the book of Ecclesiastes,
Chapter 8, verses 11-13 Solomon wrote the following:
"Because the sentenece against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil. Though a sinner does evil a hundred times, and his days are prolonged, yet I surely know that it will be well with those who fear God, who fear before Him. But it will not be well with the wicked; nor will He prolong his days, which are as a shadow, because he does not fear before God."
Meaning that just because an evil person, city or nation does not experience judgement right away, that does not mean that they will escape. In the end, the person who loves and obeys God will have eternal life and the people who choose to mock and reject God will get exactly what they want - eternal separation from Him and His people.
Las Vegas is known as "Sin City" here in Amercia and it's whole existence is built upon people going there to sin (gambling, drunkenness, fornication, nudity, etc.) Yet God has largely spared that city from any major disasters.
In fact it continues to prosper monetarily.
Does that mean God doesn't care what takes place there or doesn't
exist because we have seen retribution against Las Vegas? Many will say "yes" but God's people know the truth.
Unfortunately, their time is coming and so is Norway's and so it is for the rest of the world.
God said the disasters in the end of days will be like "birth pangs upon a women". Meaning the disasters will getting larger and more destructive as we near the end just like a woman experiences larger and more painful
contractions as the baby approaches.
A New Earth will soon be born and the Lord Jesus Christ will reign over it. He will remove from His Kingdom all who reject His Lordship
and those who love Him will be with Him forever.
Make a wise choice as to who you will follow. Your eternal destiny depends on it.
Norway, like most Scandinavian nations, all bear a cross in their flags which reflect their Heritage. They, like we in America, have conveniently forgotten our heritages in the Lord, and will receive judgement accordingly.
America however (Canada and USA), is even more interesting because our two nations were founded upon the TRUTH of Gods Word, and not upon any religion; albeit many try to utilize christianity as the religion of America. His Word isn't religious at all, but just the plain truth. :)
America is where the continued purification process spiritually, of coming out of our spiritual bonds from religion has taken and is taking place, and where LIBERTY, which can only be found in His Word, was founded.
France can argueably be said to be a nation that espouses Liberte, but it's only here in America that it grew successfully.
Like leaven however, a little can spoil the whole loaf.
Many of the American forefathers warned that if the people were to give up a little Liberty for a little security (how true that is today huh?), then we would lose our Liberty altogether; it is that precious and that easy to lose.
Only returning our hearts to the Lord, with a true repentance nationally to Him, will heal our land and gain His favor once again with His mighty hand of protection over us.
Darkness has spread across the lands of America, a spiritual darkness where compromise with sin and hiding ones light under the bed so to speak, is prevelant.
I choose to be a light of truth for Him in the growing darkness, and to witness to His Truth wherever He leads me. It will make many 'christians' uncomfortable, but indeed, His truth is offensives isn't it, yet it is always there and empowering, true freedom.
Truth may be hidden, lied about, twisted or even denied, but in the end, Truth will always be seen.
I just pray it isn't too late and people will feed only upon His truth, before the time comes where He gives them over to believe the lie, and time is certainly running out.
So who's right: Solomon or Elinor Montgomery?
The weight of the Bible shows God gives time for evil doers to repent, and no one can say how long that will be. Speediness in each situation is a variable, so man is not able to judge what is and what isn't speedy in God's eyes.
Compare the judgment on Korah in the wilderness with that which fell on the nation Israel, itself. Relatively speaking Korah may have been judged more slowly by God's standards than Israel even though it would seem to be the reverse.
Likewise, the judgment on California could have been simmering longer than either the judgment to come on Vegas or Norway. Everything is judged in the fullness of God's time, not as and when man thinks it should be judged.
Solomon had his own little problem with wisdom and behavior. The degree to which he introduced idolatry into the nation, angered God to the point he was judged in his lifetime, by having the nation Israel ripped from his throne, with only the two tribes being saved for the benefit of his father King David. How speedy was God's retribution, in relation to the crime?. No one is able to say. Only God can answer that, at which point speediness, as man interprets it, is no longer a possibility.
Hence, both Solomon and Elinor Montgomery can be right at the same time.
In His Word, we know judgement first falls upon His own people, then the nation, then the world.
Sodom and Gomorrah existed for a very long time before the Lord finally destroyed those cities, but not after first getting those who were of Him, out of the cities just prior to judgement being allotted.
As wise as Solomon may have been, by the end of his reign as King of Israel, he had done exactly opposite to what the Lord desired of him and was eventually destroyed himself.
Solomon allowed pagan idols in the land, he married pagan worshipping women and brought them into Israel, turning a blind eye to their rebellion to the Lord, a nation for which Solomon was King.
Solomon introduced temple worship to the land and even went against the Lords own directions on how it should be done.
To paraphrase His word, the Lord said to Solomon in regards to building a religious temple, "Heaven is my throne and the Earth is my foot stool, what can you build for me that I have not already created?"
Indeed, what can man do or make that isn't already the Lords.
Before temple worship began, we had the tabernacle. It is by the example of the tabernacle, that we see in the natural, His Kingdom of the spiritual.
All has been prophesied in His word and all has, is and will come into fruition. Why? 'The testimony of Jesus, IS the Spirit of prophecy' Rev 19:10.
We know the end result of sinners and that of believers. We know the Lord reigns Supreme and in righteousness when this thing called 'life' is completed as we know it to be, but in the meantime and until His Kingdom comes, satan is the ruler of this world and before the inevitable end, satans kingdom will stand over the earth. Thankfully, for a very short period of time.

How is it that you can figure out which disasters are divine retalitary strikes and which are not?
And I guess all those Christians who lost homes but were praying that they would be spared were really out of luck if this was indeed Gods plan that their homes burn.
I also didn't realize God is using arsonists to set fires that destroy innocent peoples homes because he doesn't like the way Schwarzenegger is running the state. I thought God gave all that vengeful activity in the New Testament.
Wow, I'm now completely convinced that it must be Schwarzenegger who's responsible for the fires.
