4,000 California Pastors Unite To Pass Prop. 8

You can watch the following video from the statewide simulcast from Sept. 25th major event for the passage of Prop. 8. Prop. 8 is the state initiative for restoring the definition of marriage in the California Constitution. Earlier this year, four activist judges on the California Supreme Court violated the separation of powers by legislating from the bench, something that is the legal duty of the legislative branch to do.

In overriding the will of 61% of California voters who passed Prop. 22 in 2000 (marriage is one man and one woman), the California Supreme Court ordered a law to be implemented that forced the state to issue a previously non-existent kind of marriage license where men can marry men and women can marry women. In violating California's constitution, these odd and dangerous marriage licenses have now been issued even though there is no legislation signed by the governor to issue such licenses.

Because pastors know that it is only a matter of time before homosexual activists, with the assistance of the ACLU, will be suing churches who refuse to perform these homosexual marriage ceremonies, the largest religious/political movement in California history is underway.

Because there is no religious exemption clause written in the California constitution, gay activists know that they can sue under the gay-friendly concept of discrimination and violating the sexual orientation clause of the Unruh Act within the California Constitition. This strategy has been well planned out by gay activists for several years. Their goal is to stop churches from opposing homosexuality. And the ability to now sue for refusing to perform homosexual marriages will be a weapon used to bankrupt and silence churches who oppose the radical gay agenda. These are the same tacticts that Adolph Hitler, Mao and Lenin used to shut down churches in the beginning of their godless, secular reigns of terror.

This video was part of a statewide meeting involving 4,000 pastors and their churches, the largest religious campaign in the history of California.

My people: It is time to stop the evil! It is time to reclaim our state before the godless secularists destroy our constitutional ability to operate churches free of intrusive homosexual ideologues. Sadly, we really never imagined that Americans would actually seek to destroy churches in America. We never could have conceived that human beings would eventually become evil in their quest for sexual fulfillment. And sadly, we are left with no choice but to defend our churches against those who desire to shut our churches down because they will not bow to the radical homosexual political agenda. That is why we are all, millions of us in California, working to pass Prop. 8. http://www.protectmarriage.com/

Judging from the responses to this article, there seems to be an immense concern about this proposition. I wonder how Jesus would vote?

You don't need to wonder how Jesus would vote as you can know it for certain by studying God's word.

1. Jesus is extremely severe against any type of sinning, see eg Matt. 5:20-48.
2. Jesus is extremely serious about the word of God, which defines the will of God, and sin is anything that is against that will, Matt. 5:17-19.
3. The will of God concerning marriage is clear, see Genesis 1:27, Mark 10:2-12.
4. Jesus is extremely loving and merciful towards sinners, see eg Luke 15.
5. Jesus warned about the coming temptations and prophecied that the end times will be
as the days of Noah and Sodoma and Gomorra, see Luke 17.
