Over 100 runners showed up to run in downtown San Diego in solidarity with the Boston Runners. Here is the photo we took right after we completed our running session and also my journal entry about the Tuesday night run that I wrote on the San Diego's Runner discussion board website :   I joined my Running group on Tuesday night to send a powerful message to the world and to the runners who were injured at this weekend's Boston Marathon that we are praying for them and we are refusing to give up our public running in the face of terrorist threats. I could barely walk in January after having major emergency surgery that required seven days in the hospital. I was not permitted to start doing any exercise until the first week of February. I slowly started jogging and ran my first 5k race on March 2, 2013. I completed that race in 25 minutes with a pace of 8:03 per mile. I recently joined the San Diego Runner's Meetup group which has over 4,000 members and some of the top competitive runners in San Diego County. This past Tuesday, I ran the five mile run with about 100 other runners and finished in the top 15 with a time of 35:56 or 7:11 per mile for five miles. I will be turning 55 on May 5th and fighting AIDS, Hepatitis C, AIDS-related wasting syndrome, joint degeneration and many other ailments. Yet, I refuse to give up and God is helping me to get stronger, faster and healthier through the power of His Holy Spirit. After being abused and having his constitutional rights violated by UCSD Hospital security guards, James was sent home with no wallet and a bus token for transportation. Two hours later, the head of security for the hospital called James to inform him that his wallet had been retrieved from the woman who stole it at the pharmacy window. The security chief said that the theft happened right in front of the pharmacy staff and after the security chief reviewed the video of the pharmacy, they were able to track down the woman. At no time, did any hospital security staff apologize to James for their mistreatment of him. James now has his wallet and documents this abuse against an AIDS patient at a hospital that makes millions of dollars in profits based upon their public claim of being one of the leading hospitals for compassionate care of those suffering with H.I.V.

Here is the shocking video of AIDS patient James Hartline who had broken down emotionally at the UCSD Hospital after his wallet was stolen at pharmacy window on Tuesday, January 22, 2013. Six weeks earlier, James had a near-death experience when his gall bladder almost ruptured and he had to have emergency open-abdomen surgery, resulting in his being hospitalized for seven days and losing sixteen pounds. James is already suffering from AIDS and low weight wasting. It is truly an appalling sight to watch as not one UCSD employee would help James retrieve his stolen wallet which was taken right in front of a pharmacy employee at the pharmacy counter. Here I am on Tuesday December 11, 2012 just prior to major emergency surgery. Pastor Jeff Burnell of Horizon Park Chapel visited with me and took the picture. My surgery was on Wednesday December 12th. The surgery was delayed for two days because the trauma surgery team had another trauma case rushed in to the operating room. Despite horrific pain and near death, I was still standing because Jesus is still standing. They had to open up my abdomen to remove my gall bladder, but because it was so infected it had glued to other organs and they could not remove the entire organ. I might have to have another surgery. I am still here and I am at home writing this note. These are the chronicles of James Hartline during the last days of this earth. I am making my stand in 2013! Are You Making Yours?
