James Hartline will be releasing his list of the most hypocritical candidates in this year's 2010 general elections. Here is the second of many recipients of the 2010 It Ain't Hip To Be A Hypocrite Awards -- Scott Barnett, Republican candidate for school board of the San Diego Unified School District.

Scott Barnett's campaign slogan: Barnett for School Board - Children First! (Unless you are a sex offender targeted by Jessica's Law or convicted money launderer Joel Anderson: they are really first in Scott's book!)

In addition to being one of the most nasty of the nasty personalities among this year's list of hypocrites seeking to get elected in San Diego, Scott Barnett is one of the most disgraceful when it comes to the issue of protecting kids.

In 2006, Barnett's group TaxpayersAdvocate.org injected itself into numerous campaigns and initiatives, particularly in support of corrupt California State Assemblyman Joel Anderson who was eventually convicted of money laundering in 2009. However, it was Barnett's refusal to support a 2006 state initiative to protect kids from sex offenders which brings into real focus his hypocritical demand in 2010 that voters elect him to a school board.

Prop 83: The Sexual Predator Punishment and Control Act of 2006 – or Jessica's Law – would prohibit registered sex offenders from living within 2,000 feet of schools and parks, and require them to wear satellite tracking devices for the rest of their lives.

Mr. Barnett, took a "missionary-style" position in support of Joel Anderson and his own pocketbook, but he couldn't find it in his blackened heart to take a stand on behalf of kids being targeted by dangerous sex offenders. Now, he wants to serve on a local school board.

We must ponder - Why do Scott Barnett and Joel Anderson seem to be glued to the political hip? Anderson claims to be a rabid pro-lifer, but he then takes mountains of cash from the human embryonic stem cell industry. Perhaps selling out pro-lifers for bags of campaign cash from the abortion industry is Roman Catholic Joel Anderson's way of giving his foxy wink and nod to Scott Barnett's equally nauseating betrayal of the kids of San Diego County.

Just a few years before Joel Anderson was caught up in his campaign money laundering scheme, he was featured as "Honorary Chairman" of Barnett's TaxpayersAdvocate.org.

Scott Barnett responded disrespectfully to James Hartline in a number of emails. Additionally, Hartline also intercepted several posts on a homosexual discussion board that featured posts by homosexual Republican state assembly candidate Ralph Denney and featured Scott Barnett's disrespectul rhetoric:

PS TaxpayersAdvocate not only endorsed Joel Anderson but he is a personal friend. We do not agree on all issues, but I know him to be a decent man who has never discriminated against any one in his business/politics. If you are elected, you will find Joel a good person to work with. Good luck.

This "fake" Saint James is attempting to libel your good name by making you out to be a narrow minded imbecile. I suggest you consult legal counsel to ensure you are no longer misused by this pseudo St. James. I for one would be mortified if an illiterate and hateful moron was representing himself as being me.

It is troubling when psychotic people pretend to be someone they are not--doing harm to decent folk's good names. I hope it is not too late for you to shut down this fool.

On Sept 16, 2010 the San Diego Education Association rescinded its endorsement of Scott Barnett and we can only hope and pray that the voters of San Diego do the same thing to this political crony of the corrupt - because it ain't hip to be a hypocrite!
