The Journal of James Hartline: Running For The Glory of God. This is the latest photograph of my battle to restore my health. Taken on Saturday, April 21, 2012, I had just run 52 minutes. This is how far God has brought me. In January, I had cancer removal surgery. In February, I had to stay in the hospital emergency room for eleven hours due to gallstones. They wanted to remove my gall bladder, but I postponed that decision. My weight had dropped to 138 pounds due to my battle with AIDS and Hepatitis C.
I refuse to give up because I know that God is my healer, deliverer and the source of my assignment upon the earth. For the first time in years, I just started running again and each day, I am getting stronger.
I am reminded of a prophetic dream that God gave me many years ago. In that dream, a man and a woman were in the middle of the Civil War. They did not get tired during the war and I heard a voice say, "Run! Run! Run! Nathan Run!" Nathan, the great prophet of God, means "gift of God".
As I run through my city, I am running for the Glory of God and carrying His mandate to the people: do not give up, people of God, but fight, fight, fight, for the deliverance of your people. I will soon be publishing a book and documentary of my prophetic journey. I hope you will join me and support my efforts.
"For by you I can run against a troop, and by my God I can leap over a wall. He made my feet like the feet of a deer and set me secure on the heights. He trains my hands for war, so that my arms can bend a bow of bronze. You have given me the shield of your salvation, and your gentleness made me great. You gave a wide place for my steps under me, and my feet did not slip; I pursued my enemies and destroyed them, and did not turn back until they were consumed. I consumed them; I thrust them through, so that they did not rise; they fell under my feet. For you equipped me with strength for the battle; you made those who rise against me sink under me." 2 Samuel 20:30-40
