A Call To Action!

A broad coalition of Christian Community leaders will be joining forces on Tuesday, July 14, 2009 to hold simultaneous rallies and prayer events throughout America in an effort to begin a nationwide road back to moral recovery in the United States. Called Showdown At City Hall, the event is being coordinated by San Diego Christian activist and publisher James Hartline.

James Hartline initiated the idea for Showdown At City Hall in response to the promotion of radical homosexual political events by the San Diego City Council. Hartline notes that this year the San Diego City Council is being particularly vicious in its attacks against the Catholic Church by declaring a Gay Pride Month resolution that honors the participants of the local gay pride parade and festival. Among the participants in that event is a notorious, anti-catholic hate group called the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. Additionally, hundreds of teenagers will be exposed to pornography, homosexuality and indoctrination during the San Diego Gay Pride events.

Hartline realizes that America is at a crossroads of immense significance. "If we, as God's people, do not rise up and reclaim our nation we will lose it forever," Hartline says. "This is our hour to meet the challenges being presented to us by a growing political movement at war with the very Christian principles that our Founding Fathers embraced when they established our nation. If we remain neutral and complacent, refusing to confront the darkness which seeks to overwhelm our nation, than on our watch the Christians will have forfeited our great republic and its Biblical heritage."

Participating in the Showdown At City Hall events are some of America's most courageous and impactive Christian leaders.

I did not know that the uprising of the Bastile Day is on July 14th. Very interesting fact. Thank you.

James wrote, “the Christians will have forfeited our great republic and its Biblical heritage."

James, your Biblical heritage was trashed years ago. It is true that Christians at one time dominated the culture in our schools, halls of government, and many other venues. Gradually people began to realize that these Christian customs were in the Bible but were NOT in our Constitution and we began to reclaim our culture by taking the Bible and prayers out of the schools, giving women the right to vote, freeing the slaves, and by giving gay people the right to live their lives as they wished. We are not finished yet.

When you go before the City Council on July 14th, remember that your “Christian heritage” has already been taken to the city dump. Leave your Bible at home because we do not recognize it as a source of law. Don’t tell us about the lifestyle that YOUR God or YOUR church wants us to emulate. We will respect your right to practice your beliefs when they do not interfere with our beliefs but we have our own customs, Gods, and churches which are protected by the Constitution.

Please lighten up and join us at the parade.
